On Sunday we decided to make a day trip to Bled, which is a small town next to a lake in the Julian Alps. The train (about an hour fom Ljubljana) took us to a nearby station, and we walked about 30 minutes to reach Bled.
We immediately started on the path around the lake and had just reached the halfway point when it started raining. This photo was taken just as the storm was about to hit.
We took cover under an rowing stadium building and tried to wait out the rain. Needless to say we had to abandon our plan to visit the monastery on the island.
